Description
English: The CIA’s 2017 declassification review of its 1998 history of the 1953 Iran coup is the agency’s latest reassessment of the document, conducted in response to a Mandatory Declassification Review request by the National Security Archive. This version restores many previously Secret passages as well as three out of five appendixes, including an interesting critique of the lack of interaction between the agency’s operational and analytical divisions during the effort to oust Mohammad Mosaddeq.
