Description

On Monday, February 13, The U.S. Army Band welcomed Col. Andrew Esch as the 11th Leader and Commander of "Pershing's Own" in a ceremony that also celebrated the 28-year career and retirement of Col. Timothy Holtan. Lt. Gen. Gary Cheek, Director of the Army Staff, presided over the ceremony which took place in Brucker Hall, headquarters of The U.S. Army Band, and was attended by Soldiers from the unit, family and friends of both incoming and outgoing commanders, previous commanders of "Pershing's Own," and the numerous other guests.
