Nederlands: Negatief. In het Apokajan gebied zaten ook de Kenja, waartoe ook de drie vrouwen op de foto behoorden. De associatie die veel mensen hadden als het over de Dajaks ging, was die van 'wilden'. Dat was terecht als men daarmee bedoelde dat het ging om mensen die vaak bijna naakt rondliepen, die nog niet zo lang geleden koppen snelden en veelal nog een deel van hun eigen eten uit het bos haalden. Dat echter niet alle Dajaks 'naakte wilden' waren, maakt deze foto duidelijk. Er werd door Dajak-vrouwen op bescheiden schaal gesponnen en geweven, maar er werd ook veel textiel ingevoerd. (P.
