Deze schedeldeformatie werd bereikt door het hoofd van baby's al vanaf de geboorte stevig in te wikkelen. Dansk: At have et aflangt hoved var et skønhedsideal i Mangbetu-stammen. Denne kranium deformation blev skabt ved at binde snore omkring hovedet af babyen helt fra fødslen af, imens kranie-knoglerne stadigt er bløde. |
