Nederlands: Schaal. Het aanbieden van een sirihpruim aan gasten en bij speciale gelegenheden is een algemeen gebruik in Indonesië. De sirihpruim bestaat uit het sirihblad, de betelnoot, kalk, tabak en een stukje gambir. Voor het bewaren en aanbieden van de sirihpruim zijn heel simpele en prachtige bewerkte sirihstellen gemaakt. In dit geval een schaal met deksel in de vorm van een lotusbloem.
Het zilverwerk van Riau is vervaardigd voor de bovenlaag van de bevolking, is sommige gevallen speciaal de sultanfamilie. De voorwerpen werden in dat geval met het wapen van de sultan versierd: een kris gekruist met zijn schede.
