Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD, is the fourth leading cause of death in the United States. More than 16 million people have been diagnosed with COPD in the U.S. and millions of others do not realize they may have it. Talk to your health care provider if you are experiencing symptoms such as ongoing coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath or chest tightness.
