Description
English: Fluorescence microscope image of a flower from a rice plant (Oryza sativa). Rice is a tropical plant not accustomed to the relatively cold and dry conditions in Australia. CSIRO researchers have made important breakthroughs in understanding cold tolerance and water use in rice crops.
