English: Old L station sign at Damen on the Blue Line. The “AB Station” signage origins from the former skip-stop service that took place on various branches throughout the system until the mid-1990s. Other stations had an “A Station” or “B Station” sign here.
Deutsch: Altes Stationsschild an der Station Damen an der Blue Line. Die Bezeichnung als „AB Station“ rührt vom Skip-Stop-Betrieb her, den es bis in die 1990er Jahre auf vielen Strecken der Chicagoer Hochbahn gab. Andere Bahnhöfe waren an dieser Stelle dann mit „A Station“ und „B Station“ ausgeschildert.
