CVG-3 was deployed aboard the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CVA-60) to the Mediterranean Sea from 1 February to 1 October 1958. CVG-3 (after 1963 CVW-3) was stationed aboard the Saratoga from 1958 to 1980. |
