Summary edit

Description
English: CW-01 National Semiconductor scientific Watch/Calculator

The watch/calculatoris is based on two CMOS/LSI circuits to form a Low-power Programmable Calculator Set. The pair consists of the MM48101 (a Control ROM Element), and the MM48102 (a Memory and Processor Element). The two chips form a processor with an eight-bit instruction/four-bit data word architecture. The Watch/Calculator uses a liquid crystal display to provide a continuous indication of hours-minutes-seconds, as well as a month/date calendar and AM indicator on demand. In the calculator mode it employs algebraic logic, full scientific notation, trig. and log. functions, store and recall memory, pi, powers of numbers, register exchange and reciprocals.
