  • Dansk: Larviksfjorden, Norge. "I 1832 rejste Eckersberg en tur til Norge, og denne rejse nordpå foretog han med dampskib. Fra rejsen findes skildringer af dampskibe og sejlskibe, eksempelvis dette fra maj 1832, (ill. 47). Billedet viser, at Eckersberg også på sine rejser inkluderede et moderne blik på omgivelserne og deres samfundsmæssige og transportmæssige ændringer" (Grand 2012: 125).
