Español: El parque Nacional Cabo Polonio, situado en el departamento de Rocha, Uruguay, sobre el Océano Atlántico, es un pequeño y rústico balneario al cual se puede llegar atravesando una gran isla de dunas en vehículos especiales que parten desde la terminal Puerta del Polonio y emprenden un trayecto de 30 minutos. Rodeado por tres islas donde habitan lobos marinos, el Parque Nacional Cabo Polonio es una de las reservas más grandes del mundo. Solo algunas pocas calles de arena dividen el poblado. Casas y ranchos coloridos de madera dispersos sobre las dunas, un faro y dos extensas playas que se unen en la punta rocosa del cabo presentan un lugar lleno de magia y energía especial. Sin luz eléctrica ni agua corriente, los habitantes de todo el año llevan una vida con otros tiempos. Esto hace que los visitantes disfruten de una experiencia única con la naturaleza y que uno de sus mayores atractivos sea la tranquilidad. |
