Summary

Description
English: Cafe in Otterspool Park. Now derelict, this cafe was popular in the latter half of 20th century when the park was regularly used. The stream which ran through this wooded valley was called Osklebrok in King John's time and later the River Jordan by the Puritans that farmed the area in the 17th century. George Stephenson, whilst residing nearby, made a model of his railway on the dry riverbed of the Jordan.
