Summary edit

Description
English: Cairn, St. Raven's Edge Backed with Red Screes. The Edge appears to be named after a famous local Saint, the mysterious St. Raven. This seems unlikely however and the name is thought to be a corruption of the nearby 'Sattereven' an Old Norse inversion compuond meaning 'Hrafn's Sheiling'(Whaley 2006). The size of the Cairn could indicate that this is as far as many tourists get after venturing onto the fells from the car park on the pass.
