Description
English: Cairn at the summit of Cairn Edward Hill, Galloway Forest As can be seen from the fir trees in the background, visibility was restricted by low cloud and mist on this occasion. There is a Fire Tower nearby. The top of the hill displays a substantial area of relatively flat rocky outcrops. It is not very high at 325 metres but there are some steep sections in parts of the ascent.
