Description

This photo was taken by poking my camera out the narrow slit of our hotel room window that I was able to open, pointing it south while it was at arms length, and hoping for the best...

These photos were taken on Dec 18, 2008 in the city of Cairo -- starting with some dawn photos of the Nile River taken from our hotel room, and followed by some sunset/dusk photos of traffic, pedestrians, and life on the streets of Giza section of Cairo.

The sunset pictures are, in many cases, somewhat blurred and "noisy" -- because they were taken from a moving car, without flash, and with the ISO setting on my digital camera cranked up to 3200. C'est la vie...
