English: Caisteal Uisdean. The castle is an impressive and very heavy construction built in around 1580 by Uisdean MacGhilleaspiug Chlerich, nephew of Donald Gorm, 6th chief of the MacDonalds. It is unusual in that it has no door, with access having been by ladder to the upper floor.
