Description
English: Camowen River, Cranny, Omagh In the foreground is Japanese Knotweed which grows rampant here; it is virtually indestructible, but I have heard that a certain plant eating predator from Japan could be the answer, but often the newly introduced predator can itself become a nuisance. A lesser known fact is that Japanese knotweed is a potent source of Resveratrol, which is present in red wine, and is used in statins for the control of cholesterol
