ack from 10 to 12 packages a minute, and keep it up ail day, thus proving it to bethe most speedy Tea Packer ever invented. The frame of this machine is made of hardwood, the working parts of steeland iron, and the Tea Tubes are made of tinned steel. One of these machines, withconstant use, will last a lifetime. There is nothing to wear or give out about it. Package tea in sealed lead packages is the only way to hold your customers, andif you dont sell your own tea in this way you will soon be obliged to sell tea for someperson else or lose your tea trade. Ninety per cent, of the tea that is consumedin Great Britain is sold in lead packages, and it is theonly way to preserve the flavor. All original pack-ages of tea are put up in sealed lead or iron, andshould be handed to the consumer in equally air-tight packages, in quantities that may be required. Patented in Canada, Oct. 16,1897 The price of this machine is $60.00, net cash. We will make draft 10 days after shipping. Yours truly,

A. H. CANNING & CO. 57 Front Street East, Toronto, Can. A. H. Canning, Esq., City: Toronto, Jan. 20, 1898. Dear Sir,—We have been handed a circular of your Tea Packer, in the third paragraph of which, as we take it, you reflect on the Ideal Machine;and state that your Packer, being able to turn out 10 or 12 packages per minute, is the most sp edy in use. Now, we shall wager you $100.00 that you cannot pack 10 or 12 packages a minute for five minutes in succession, with three boys working at the machine, that is, with a weigher, a wrapper and boy at the machine. Then we shall wager that our IDEAL Machine, with the same number of boys, CAN turn out 10 or 12 packages per minute for five minutes. Or weshall wager you that we can turn out tw j packages to your one in a days work of eight hours, or three packages for your one in a weeks work. In fact, if youwant competition of any kind, we are quite willing to meet you in a fair spirit, as it would be a good business move for the winne
