h floor are car-loads of canned goods, starch, soap,syrup and other cased goods. The fifthfloor warehouses canned salmon, oils,pickles, cocoa, English imported goods,brooms, tubs and hollow ware, paper,etc. The sixth floor is devoted entirely toteas and coffees, and to the packingroom for these goods. This latter is ex-tremely convenient in arrangement. Onone side of the room is a double rowof bins or shelves to contain opened each floor. When an order comes in tothe shipping office, each floor managergets a slip covering the goods wantedfrom his floor, and no confusion canarise as a different colored slip is usedfor each floor. A desk and phone oneach floor gives full facilitv to the man-ager of each to get out his ordersquickly.
