Description
English: Inside Canal Park, a park triangle at the west end of Canal Street and West Street near the Holland Tunnel in TriBeCa, Manhattan. The park was designated as parkland in 1686, and developed in 1888 by Calvert Vaux and Samuel B. Parsons Jr., but was destroyed for the construction of the Holland Tunnel. The 1888 design of the park was restored between 2000 and 2005.
