Description
English: Canal and Pasture near Market Drayton, Staffordshire. The Shropshire Union canal was fully opened by 1835 when the last section from Nantwich to Autherley Junction (near Wolverhampton) was constructed, engineered by Thomas Telford. The canal was formerly called the Birmingham and Liverpool Junction Canal.
