English: Canal divergence near Whitminster The River Frome has been diverted into the Stroudwater Canal bed up to this point. This picture is looking along the flood defence embankment with the river on the right hand side. The canal previously ran to the left of centre of the picture through a shallow lock, a black and white balance beam of which can just be seen protruding from the bushes. |
