English: Candan Atilgan (inoffiziell Canan) (* 10.04.1968 in Ankara) (geschieden und hat ein Kind ) ist eine Türkin und deutsche KAS Mitarbeiterin aus Keskin (Kırıkkale)-Turkei.
Atilgan studierte Politik an der Universität Frankfurt und schrieb ihre Dissertation 2002 zum Thema Türkische Diaspora in Deutschland: Chance oder Risiko für die deutsch-türkischen Beziehungen. Sie ist bei der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung als Leiterin des Regionalprogramms "Politischer Dialog Südkaukasus" tätig. Zuvor war sie Koordinatorin für Europapolitik bei der Stiftung. Atilgan spricht deutsch, türkisch, englisch (B2), arabisch (Anfängerniveau) und russisch (Anfängerniveau). |
