Description
Català: Cap de Roque Ceverio, sepulcre de la família Ceverio valero, Museu Municipal de Xèrica.

Sarcòfag d'alabastre amb les figures jacents de Roque Ceverio i Isabel de Valero, senyors del Hostalejo. Recolzat sobre tres lleons (símbol de la mort, resurrecció i vigilàngia). Aquesta família va costejar part de la construcció del convent dels Agustins de la Mare de Déu dels socors de Xèrica, atorgant-los el privilegi de tindre el seu panteó familiar a l'altar major de l'església (actual Centre Socio-cultural El Socós).

La inscripció diu: HIC IACENT ROCHUS CEVERIO MILES QUI DIE XXII MARCI MDXCIX OBIIT SEGOBRIGAE. IBI PRAESIENDOPRO SVA R·M·ET·D·ISABELLA VALEROEIUS UXOR QUE OBIIT MENS. ANNI·M·DC Falta la data de definció d'Isabel.

Traducció:Ací descansen les restes de Roque Ceverio, soldat que va morir a Sogorb el dia 22 de març de 1599 presidint allí per R. M. i Na Isabel Valero, la seua esposa que va morir el dia [...] del mes [...] de l'any 16[...].

Mesures: 180 x 180 x 94 cm.

Procedència: El sarcòfag estava a la paret lateral esquerra de l'altar major de l'església del convent del Socós. Es va retirar després de la Guerra Civil en molt mal estat de conservació, junat amb l'escut familiar.
