Description
Español: Conocida como la Capilla del Doncel, su denominación es Capilla de San Juan y Santa Catalina. Es la más importante de la catedral, no solo por albergar los féretros de la familia Vázquez de Arce, sino por el conjunto artístico escultural que acoge. La Catedral de Sigüenza está dedicada a Santa María la Mayor, patrona de la ciudad de Sigüenza. Tuvo su origen en enero de 1124, cuando el obispo Bernardo de Agén (1080–1152) reconquistó la ciudad a los musulmanes, en tiempos del reinado de Doña Urraca, hija de Alfonso VI. Guadalajara, Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla-La Mancha
