Description This grand two-story I-house with a prominent two-story front porch was constructed by Capt. William P. (Irish Bill) Moore in 1887 on Tusquittee Road several miles northeast of Hayesville, North Carolina. Captain Moore was a commander in the Confederate Army during the United States Civil War.
