Description
English: British troops inspect a German Junkers Ju 87B-2 Stuka (T6 + AN, Red outlined 'A', squadron leaders aircraft) which made an emergency landing in the desert, December 1941. The aircraft was assigned to 5. Staffel, II./StG 2 "Immelmann" (5th Squadron, 2nd Group, 2nd Dive Bomber Wing, Note Geschwaderkennung)
Deutsch: Britische Truppen untersuchen eine deutsche Junkers Ju 87 B-2 "Stuka" mit dem Kennzeichen 'T6 + AN' (A = rot gerahmt) der 5./StG 2 (5. Staffel des Sturzkampfgeschwaders 2 "Immelmann", A = Maschine des Staffelkapitäns). Die Ju 87 musste im Dez. 1941 jenseits der deutschen Linien in der Wüste notlanden. Die Besatzung hat vermutlich überlebt, und geriet in britische Kriegsgefangenschaft. Hinweis: Geschwaderkennung
