| Description | A Capuchin Monkey at the far end of his cage. The problem I had in photographing this animal lay not with the animal, but with my brand new D90. Don't know if it was set on focus tracking, but my usual trick of zooming in fully on the animal inside to make the netting disappear didn't seem to work here. When the monkey was in focus, and when I was trying to press teh shutter button, the focus used to shift to the mesh in the immediate foreground and so on and so forth. It eventually fired when the fellow was turning the other way. (Al Ain, UAE, Dec. 2012) |
