Description
English: A brown paper folder with a central panel designed to look like wood with flowers. The front panel has a black and white image of a water scene at the centre. Inside is a black and white photograph. On the left side of the photograph is printed "With Kind Remembrance", handwritten in ink is "from/ Jack & Douglas". It is unclear which of the men depicted is Douglas Ballantyne Fraser.

Douglas Ballantyne Fraser (1895-1975) who joined the Royal Australian Naval Brigade (RANB) in 1911 at age 16. During the First World War he served with the 1st Royal Australian Naval Bridging Train (1st RANBT) in places such as Gallipoli, the Suez Canal and the Sinai Peninsula. The RANBT was the most highly decorated Royal Australian Navy unit of WW1.
