| Description |
English: Site of former Cargill station, 1991. View eastward, towards Forfar. I had parked my Honda Accord where I surmised the ex-Caledonian Railway Strathmore Main line, Perth etc. (Stanley Junction) - Forfar - (Kinnaber Junction) - Aberdeen had crossed after closure as a through route from 4/9/67, although local goods Perth - Forfar continued for a few more years. Cargill station had been just ahead here, but was closed to passengers 11/6/56, to goods 6/12/65. |
