Description
Español: El Caricare sabanero o Chirigüare, cuyo nombre científico es Milvago chimachima, es una de las rapaces más conocidas de Venezuela. En las copas de los árboles de la cuenca del río Albarregas, que atraviesa la ciudad de Mérida, es usual verlas asechando los nidos de las aves menores para alimentarse de sus crías. Esta fotografía fue tomada en la Urbanización el Encanto de la Avenida Urdaneta de dicha ciudad, con la luna en menguante como telón de fondo.
