Description
The Fritz Juel was built in 1873 by Burmeister & Wain in Copenhagen (Yard no. 76). The ship measured 36 GRT and was ordered by baron Frederik Juel Brockdorf of Troense, Denmark as a ferry between Svendborg and the island of Taasinge, where he resided. In 1947 she was sold to the shipyard at Svedborg and used as a barge until broken up in 1970. Source: http://www.jmarcussen.dk/maritim/skibsliste/side.php?id=10480 (in Danish)
