Description
Português: O secretário estadual de Meio Ambiente do Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Minc, acredita que ainda é possível de avançar em alguns pontos do documento da Rio+20. Para ele, os principais pontos a mudar são: a defesa dos oceanos, o corte no subsídio a combustíveis fósseis.

Na opinião dele, a grande dificuldade de fechar um texto mais avançado é a radicalização dos países mais conservadores. "Parece que (a discussão) anda pelo passo do país mais atrasado em cada tema."

Segundo Minc, o ponto positivo da reunião está nos compromissos assumidos pelas grandes cidades. "essa escala local e regional vai influenciar positivamente as estruturas nacionais que são mais lentas."

Ex-ministro do Meio Ambiente, Minc lembra a reviravolta promovida pelo Brasil na COP-15, quando o Brasil se ofereceu para contribuir com recursos e tecnologia para a questão do clima. "Até o último dia, há esperança", defendeu.
