Description
Svenska: Gruvgången Carls stoll i Garpenberg. Hedemora kommun, Dalarnas län, Sverige. Gruvgången börjar i bergväggen under Garpenbergs kyrkogård och löper ca 50 meter och slutar mitt under Garpenbergs kyrka. I gruvgången, skapad genom tillmakning, bröts koppar och är den enda gruvgången i Sverige som gjorts under en kyrka.
English: Mine tunnel Carls stoll in Garpenberg, Hedemora Municipality, Dalarna County, Sweden. The tunnel starts in the hillside under Garpenberg Church's cemetery and continues about 50 meters with the terminal end under the middle of the church. In the tunnel, made by fire-setting, copper was mined. It is the only mine tunnel in Sweden made under a church.
