| Description |
English: Carlton Gate Carlton Gate is one of several fairly modern roads off Broome Manor Lane, which contain a lot of individually designed houses. Despite the word "Gate" in the road name, this is not a gated community, though there are two pillars standing on each side of the road, at the point where the houses begin. These can be seen in the far distance in this view. Just to the left of the house on the left, is an entrance to the Polo Ground. This large field is open to the public and is often used for fetes and other events, usually at Bank Holidays. |
