| Description |
English: Carn Ffoi, rocky ground This is the topmost natural outcrop that surmounts the prehistoric fortified enclosure below. In this view from the south the ground is covered with rocks which give the appearance of a 'chevaux-de-frise' defense designed to impede attackers. However it may simply be that, as a result of the scrub having been burnt, the naturally stony surface has been exposed. |
