| Description |
English: Carn Pica Perched on the edge of the plateau the cairn offers a popular vantage point. This view is east, like so many, showing the north-western end of the Black Mountains with Waun Fach and Pen y Gader Fawr being the highest points either side of the cairn. Mynydd Troed and Mynydd Llangorse and be seen to be slightly isolated from the rest of the group.
Carn Pica is just in SO0620. Two of the three of us had GPS and although they differed by about 4 metres the carn is about 20 metres west of the 06/07 grid line. |
