English: 9/2/019/0002-087 Situated at Carnarvon Museum, Erf 328, Hanau Street, Carnarvon, this corbelled house was moved from Biesiesput Farm and rebuilt in the museum grounds. Corbelled houses are examples of the ingenuity of the first settlers in this area, who built using the only materials available in the harsh environment and are important relics of the cultural and national architectural history in South Africa
