Description
Español: Carrera de carros romanos. Fotograbado sobre papel. 70 x 102 cm. 1891. Cuando Hollywood llevó al cine la obra de Wallace "Ben-Hur", tuvo muy en cuenta las aportaciones de Ulpiano Checa, no sólo era considerado el principal imaginero de la novela, sino también uno de los más importantes de la Roma Imperial. Tras dos versiones anteriores (1907 y 1925). Wyler dirigió en la que se convertiría en la pel´´icula de "peplum" más importante de la historia. . El cuadro fue donado por los hijos del pintor en 1957.
