Caminhos de Pedra em Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul

Construída no local onde funcionava o moinho Cecconello, a casa é exemplo de um processo de aculturação. A Erva-Mate, planta muito comum na região, era conhecida e utilizada como bebida pelos índios (bugres), que a chamavam de "Cá-a". O imigrante, além de absorver o hábito de consumi-la, agregou-lhe a tecnologia que permitiu a produção em grande escala. No local é feita a demonstração do processo de produção artesanal com históricos soques movidos à roda d'água. No varejo, que funciona no porão da residência da família Ferrari, é oferecida degustação de chimarrão e uma grande variedade de artigos ligados ao mesmo.
