Description
English: Cass Scenic Railroad's Shay locomotive number 4 pushes forward to join the rest of its consist for a ride up Bald Knob in West Virginia.

Shay Locomotive #4 built by Lima Locomotive Works. Lima # 3189. Locomotive is still in operation in Cass Scenic Railroad State Park in WV, USA.

Coal smoke and steam venting from the cylinders, not to mention the fall colors, really thrilled me.
