Cison di Valmarino (TV), ITA - Il Castello Brandolini Cison di Valmarino fu per secoli la piccola capitale della contea dei Brandolini. Di quell'era il castello omonimo e un numero cospicuo di palazzi signorili distinguono Cison dal resto dei paesi della vallata.Il Castello Brandolini sorge su di un costone, e domina la vallata che va da Vittorio V.to a Follina lunga 15 km. Dal 1200 al 1300 fu posseduta dai Vescovi di ceneda per poi passare ai caminesi. Nel 1436 passo ai Veneziani, che concessero il feudo ai capitani di ventura Erasmo da Narni e Brandolino Brandolini. Quest'ultimo ne divenne primo conte riscattandolo dal Gattamelata. La struttura fortificata contiene all'interno un grosso complesso residenziale, ampliamenti sono stati fatti nel '500 e '700. La struttura, di proprietà privata, è stara ristrutturata ed adibita ad albergo. |
