Deutsch: Das Kastell Gholaia, das durch antike Quellen auch als castra Chol(aia), [G]olas sowie in der Tabula Peutingeriana als Chosol überliefert ist, war ein römisches Militärlager, das für Sicherungs- und Überwachungsaufgaben am vorderen Limes Tripolitanus, einem tiefgestaffelten System von Kastellen und Militärposten, in der römischen Provinz Africa proconsularis zuständig war. Blick über die überwölbten Räume des Bades zum Stabsgebäude und der Porta principalis dextra.
