English: This wonderful light interior is dominated by the enormous Scissor Arches, constructed from 1338-1348 to stop the newly built Central Tower from collapsing.
This fantastic Nave rises to 67' (21m) in height and contains a few hints of what the colour was like in the Middle Ages. A fantastic Cathedral, and one that is well worth the visit. |
