| Description |
English: Cattle near Offham. As I tried to find a good spot, amongst the rushes, from which to photograph the "Black Rabbit", I noticed that the cattle had started to move towards me at a fast pace. I quickly regained the footpath, and met them head-on. They were friendly; too friendly! One tried to eat the straps of my rucksack, then butted me in the back, and tried to rub his head against my side. Luckily, this one did not have horns, but some of the others did!
A close-up photograph was impossible, and this was the first opportunity after the cattle came to a stand. The "Black Rabbit" can be seen in the distance, some 300 yards away. |
