Summary

edit
Description
English: Caythorpe Mill Dating from around 1745, and converted into a private residence, it current also houses a small craft pottery. The original waterwheel was retained at the time of conversion, although it does not work. Caythorpe Mill was the lowest mill on the Dover Beck, which clearly had sufficient flow of water, even in this relatively flat area, to make this worthwhile. This is the view from downstream of the mill, with the Dover beck in the foreground.
