Summary edit

Description The southern half of the Oregon Trunk Rail Bridge (or Celilo Bridge), viewed from the northeast, on the Washington side of the Columbia River, looking towards Oregon. Interstate 84 is in the background. The truss span at left is a former swing span. The lift span (in the raised position here) was installed in 1957 to replace the swing span's function, and the swing span has been inoperable since 1956.
