Summary

edit
Description
English: The Central Hotel in Boise, Idaho, was constructed at the corner of Idaho and 7th Streets (Capitol Blvd.) in 1865 with 43 rooms and 50 beds. The second floor was used by the territorial House of Representatives beginning in 1866. Later the second floor became an art school. In 1874, James H. Bush purchased the hotel and remained proprietor until the hotel burned in 1890. The Bush building (demolished) was then constructed on the site, and City Hall now occupies the block.
