DESCRIPTION Photograph of the Central Square (North Side) in Keene New Hampshire taken around 1900, showing the electric cars which came in use in 1896. "A number of former landmarks appear in this close view of Central Square. the "wigwam" covers the fountain erected to the memory of Allan Parkhurst Ingersoll. The two 32 pound cannon on either side of the monument had been placed there in April 1899."
